What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser to remember something between visits: a preference, a session or, in the case of advertising, an identifier that allows measurement of which ads you have seen.

The theme cookie is strictly necessary to remember your visual preference and is used for nothing else. All the others require your prior consent and are not set until you give it.
How to change your decision
The consent notice is managed by Google Funding Choices, a platform certified under the industry transparency and consent framework. To review or withdraw your choice there are two routes:
- Reopen the panel from the consent management link shown in the notice itself.
- Clear this site's cookies in your browser: the notice will appear again on your next visit.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. Note that blocking them all does not stop you seeing ads: it only stops them being personalised.
