Purpose of the site
This site offers calculators and informational content about endurance training. Access and use are free and require no registration. Browsing it implies acceptance of these terms.
The results are estimates
All the calculators apply published physical and physiological models, with simplifications detailed on each page. The results are indicative estimates and do not replace a direct measurement, a laboratory test, or the judgement of a coach or health professional.
Endurance training carries risks. If you have a medical condition, if you are returning after time off, or if symptoms appear during effort, consult a professional before planning your training on these numbers. The owner accepts no responsibility for decisions taken on the basis of the results or for their consequences.
Availability
Every effort is made to keep the site continuously available, but no guarantee is given against interruptions, calculation errors or hosting failures. If you find an error in a formula or a result, reporting it is appreciated: it gets corrected and the correction is noted.
Intellectual property
The design, text, code and tables on this site are the work of the owner and are protected by intellectual property law. The scientific formulas and models cited belong to their authors and are referenced on each page.
